Getting Big

Kyler is getting so big. I have no idea where time has went. I can't believe he is already 8 months old. I love his smile and how happy he always is, God has truly blessed us with Kyler.

Kinlee's Bike

My parents bought Kinlee a bike for Christmas and we have had the hardest time trying to get Kinlee to ride it. She wanted on it tonight and she started peddling. She said, "Look mommy I can do this." Watch out here comes Kinlee!!!

Tanya Crevier

Today we took Kinlee over to Taylor Basketball Camp to watch Tanya Crevier preform. For those who don't know Tanya is amazing with a basketball or basketballs. She is so passionate about the game and about using it as a tool to witness to others. Many times I wander what is my tool to be that witness for Christ?? Being back during camp brought back many memories of working camp back in the day. During Tanya's performace she motioned for Kinlee to come up front. Kinlee, my shy little girl, would not move unless I went with her. When we got up there Tanya spun a ball on Kinlee's finger. She thought she was really doing it...it was so cute. KC was in charge of the camera, so the only picture we got was as Kinlee and I walked back. She has spent the day trying to do tricks with her ball Tanya gave to her. What an amazing ministry.

Taylor Lake...yet again

Yes, it's true we went yet again to Taylor Lake. Yesterday it was so hot and there was nothing better to do. Kinlee is getting more daring or should I say confident in going out even farther in the water. Don't worry mom and dad she can touch all the way to the rope. She had to have a pink float like Alexa has, so we were at Meijer and were able to get one for her. She loved it. I'm sure we will end up there again this week!!! :)

Taylor Lake

Kinlee has fallen in love with Taylor Lake, or as she calls it Tiff's Lake. One of the teachers that I teach with is named Tiffany. She is over Taylor Lake in the summer, so Kinlee truly thinks it is her lake. I think it is totally gross (the lake that is), but it entertains Kinlee and it's a great place to hang out with other moms who have kids. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time there this summer!!

Jayden and Journee's Birthday Party

On Sunday we traveled south for Jayden and Journee's birthday party. Jayden and Journee are my sister Jessica's two kids. I can't believe Jayden turned 8!!! and Journee 4, even though she could pass as a kindergartner :)...We had a great time with family and friends. Kinlee loved Journee's princess cake, swimming in the pond, and jumping on the trampoline.

Aedyn and Kinlee

The Slaters' came over for a cookout and Kinlee and Aedyn started playing catch in the yard. Then Abram and KC thought they would show of their skills. After they hit the neighbors house on one side and the fence on the other side (put a dent in it) they decided they should quit. You think???

My Girlie Girl

KC and I often joke that we have no idea how Kinlee is sooo girlie. She loves to play dress up and pose for the camera. What else is there better to do on a rainy day...

KC and I pray that Kinlee and Kyler love sports, so neither of them
probably will...anyway. In our family we often say that Kinlee
takes after Nana, no coordination. KC and Kinlee decided to go out
and play catch and as Kinlee says, "lets put on our baseball hands." So, with baseball hands on they play catch, which lasted about 5 minutes. There's no hope!!!

Kinlee and Kyler at Holiday World

Kinlee had a blast at Holiday World. She loved the zebra slide, the log ride, and the little kiddie roller coaster, and of course ice cream. She had it everywhere!! She just couldn't lick fast enough! Kyler, on the other hand, didn't enjoy Holiday World at all! It was really hot for him!!

Holiday World

While KC is off in the Bahamas, the kids and I ventured down to Holiday World with my family. Don't think that was a far trade...but we had a blast. More pictures to come...
